Hi Shipmates!

Just a quick note to get you all up to date on this years reunion. As some of you know, the site has been changed from Biloxi to Orlando, Florida. I talked to Ralph Freese at D.E.S.A., and he advised me that it will be at the Orlando Hyatt from October 25^th to October 29^th, and the room cost will be $79.00.

The D.E.S.A. News will be in the mail today with full particulars on tours, meetings, etc. It is being sent 4^th class mail, so it may take a few days for delivery. When I receive my copy I will make some photo copies of all the pertinent info and have it available for anyone who does not receive the news.

Sorry to report the passing of Al Caya in February of this year. Our prayers are with his widow Anne Maj.

Fred Schnurle came aboard the Otter in December 1944 as a radarman and hopes to join the group in Orlando. Ples Olin Ivy came aboard in late 1944 also, and he requested some info on our next reunion - hope he can make it to Orlando too.
